d’Orkest releases the second single, “Kill the Fire”, from their highly anticipated album DOMINI.

DOMINI is an electronic album project by d’Okest, deliberately distinct from the traditional sound the band is known for. While d’Orkest usually operates as a live ensemble, DOMINI explores a different musical space: electronic, raw, and experimental.

The album was developed over two years and recorded in Paramaribo, Amsterdam, and Kourou. Most of the music was created between shows and live recording sessions, as part of a creative experiment, capturing ideas quickly and intuitively. The majority of tracks on DOMINI were recorded in one take, giving the album a direct and unpolished energy.

The masterminds behind DOMINI are Jamey Reso (d’Orkest) and Andriano Smalls (DJ and producer).

The album features the nr 1 hit track “Fade To Black”, which encapsulates the experimental and electronic essence of DOMINI.

DOMINI is set for release by the end of August, 2026. Work has already begun on a second DOMINI album, further developing the project’s vision.
